Big Second Quarter Sends Blue Ridge Past Urbana Uni

The Blue Ridge Knights rebounded from a slow start to get by Urbana University High School 70-67 in non-conference high school boys' basketball action from Blue Ridge High School Tuesday night.

 

The Knights trailed after the first quarter 16-8 but rallied to outscore Urbana 23-13 and open a 31-29 lead at the intermission.

 

The game remained close the entire way but the Knights were able to hold on led by Colin Michales 21 points.

 

Zach Lewis added 19 for Blue Ridge.

 

With the win, the Knights go to 2-4 overall. They travel to Fisher Friday night for a non-conference road game.
