In a game heard on WEZC and at dewittdailynews.com, Breese Mater Dei drained seven first half three-pointers, propelling them to a 56-35 victory over Monticello in non-conference high school boy's basketball action from the Greenville Shootout Saturday evening.

The Knights had three players score in double digits led by Drake Wagner and Connor Loepker's 12 points. Dalton Markus had a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Jacob Hustedde grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Trey Welter led the Sages again with 13 points and was the ServPro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game. Drew Sheppard scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds. 

Mater Dei improves to 4-3 overall while Monticello drops to 4-4 overall.
