HS Baseball: 4 HRs Leads Mt. Pulaski Past Riverton

The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers hit four home runs and rolled Riverton 15-5 in non-conference high school boy's baseball Monday afternoon at Riverton High School.

 

Even Cooper and Chance Payne homered, doubled, and drove in three runs. Jackson Fricke hit a two-run home while Clayton Aylesworth came off the bench with a home run.

 

AJ Bailey and Landon Smith doubled and Bailey drove in two for Mt. Pulaski. 

 

Gavin Smith went four innings of one-run ball, struck out nine, and permitted just two hits. 

 

The Hilltoppers pounded out nine extra-base hits. 

 

Mt. Pulaski moves to 15-1 overall. They'll travel to Heyworth this afternoon.
