HS FBall: Washington Hopes Experience Carries Them This Year

A six win Washington team was very young last year and in his final season at the helm of the program, coach Darrell Crouch really likes the team he has this season.

Coach Crouch will retire at the end of the year from coaching and believes last year's team that was very young and still won six games had a great summer and is poised for a good year in the fall of 2023.

Offensively, Coach Crouch likes to control the clock and run the football but they will spread the field, especially with their athleticism at the receiver position this year.

Coach Crouch began his tenure as the football coach at Washington in 2005. In his 18 years, he's compiled a 145-52 record.

Washington travels to Kaneland for its week one matchup.
