It was a disappointing football campaign in 2022 for Dee-Mack and after the fact, there was a great deal of reflection that has fueled the Chiefs this offseason.

Coach Cody Myers explains he had a very young team go 6-3 and make the second round of the playoffs in 2021, and so it was a given his team would take a big step forward in 2022.

Coach Myers says this summer - they did things completely different. He explains he wanted to implement more fun and team building for the kids into the summer schedule so it wasn't all football all the time with him and the kids.

Going into this fall, Coach Myers says leadership is the theme. Leadership from himself as the head coach and leadership inside the team.

The Chiefs go to Chicago for its first game this season to take on Chiacgo Academy. It'll be a rare 4 pm Friday football game.
