HS FBall: Rebuilding Continues at Heyworth

The Heyworth Hornets endured a frustrating year but second-year coach Nate Albaugh credits his team's resiliency and desire to continue to play football.

It's going to be a slow process to rebuild at Heyworth and Coach Albaugh hopes to find kids that want to play football with enthusiasm and passion.

Coach Albaugh came to Heyworth with the goal of getting into the school and community and he feels like he has done that now going into his second season in Heyworth. He believes the team had a great summer.

Coach Albaugh gives a lot of credit to last year's seniors for helping keep the program together and says he has another good group of seniors this year. Additionally, he really likes the sophomore class this year which should see significant varsity snaps.

Coach Albaugh believes his team is very enjoyable to be around and this is probably his favorite part of his team this year. He hopes to continue to build the program, keep the morale of the team high and serve the community Heyworth no matter how trying of a time it is.

Heyworth will start its season hosting West Hancock.
