HS Band: Dynamic Show Will Keep You on the Edge of Your Seat at Clinton Football Games This Fall

Clinton High School Band Director Nathan Wheeler is hoping this year's marching band show will keep spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the football season.

Clinton High School's marching band will perform a variety of songs around the theme of 'cops and robbers'. He feels audiences are really going to enjoy the themes the band will take on with costumes as well as following the marching sets.

This year, the Clinton marching band was up against the clock in a sense because Clinton hosts a week one football game and Wheeler wanted to have as much of the show put together as possible.

Band participation at Clinton High School remains very strong and Wheeler attributes that to the strong program they have from the junior high level and the collaboration they have with the junior program.

Wheeler encourages the community not only to catch the band at halftime of the football games but also be sure to catch them at the Apple n' Pork Festival. They open the festival with the national anthem and then play its pep band tunes for about an hour during the morning.
