The Blue Ridge Knights needed three sets but took down Iroquois West 25-20, 21-25, and 25-16 in non-conference high school girl's volleyball action Monday night in the season opener for both squads from Farmer City.

Phoebe Reynolds paced the Knights with eight kills, five aces, and 12 digs. Ellie Strough added six aces, five digs, and three kills. 

Alissa Edwards contribued 13 assists.

Blue Ridge is 1-0 on the young season.
