A third of the high school football season is in the books and the Clinton Maroons are looking to get back on the winning track this week after a frustrating couple of weeks.
Coach Ron Bass called last week's matchup at Eureka strange as it featured an ejection and a flag-fest at one point. He feels his team responded and made some plays but it just wasn't enough.
The Maroons face another stiff test this week when they visit Central A&M. Coach Bass says it starts with the quarterback for the Raiders and the Maroons playing good defense.
