The Clinton Maroons golf teams both competed in regionals this week.

The boy's golf team competed in regionals on Wednesday in Metamora. The team placed sixth and will not be advancing as a team. Senior Brooks Cluver shot a 74 and was 4th in the meet. He received a top 5 medal and will advance to sectionals on Monday at Kellogg Golf Course in Peoria. Aiden Toohill finished 7th with an 83 and will also advance to sectionals.

Ryan Pine shot an 87, Cole Fentress shot a 91, Briley Carter recorded a 95, and Ashton Douglas finished with a 110.

The girl's regionals were held on Thursday in Danville. They tied for 5th but did not advance. Junior Carley Earle was 5th overall with a 90 and received a top 5 medal. She will be advancing to sectionals on Monday in Taylorville. Senior Sarah Mills shot a 92 to receive 6th overall and will also advance to sectionals.

Leah Mills shot a 123, Addie Koritz had a 124, and Grace Gates finished with 133.
