Despite a player of the week quality performance from its quarterback, Eastern Illinois fell short last week in overtime and looks to bounce back on the road this week at Southeast Missouri State in action coming your way on WHOW.
Quarterback Pierce Holley passed for a season-high 359 yards on Saturday in the Panthers overtime loss to UT-Martin. Holley was named the Big South-OVC Football Association Player of the Week on Monday.
Eastern Illinois added to its team takeaway total on Saturday forcing four turnovers against UT-Martin.
