Tolono Unity jumped out early on Monticello thanks to early takeaways and never looked back, rolling to a 47-26 win in Illini Prairie Conference action Friday night in Monticello.
The Rockets wrapped up its regular season 7-2 overall.
Monticello is 5-4.
Luke Teschke led the Sages finishing 23-for-33 with 243 passing yards. He had two touchdown passes - both to Trey Welter - and threw an interception.
Welter caught a game-high 11 passes for 135 yards with his two touchdowns.
Ike Young was named the ServPro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game as he had a total of 54 yards and a total of nine touches but ran hard all night when he got his opportunities.
The Sages will await their opponent for week one of the 3A playoffs.
