The Clinton Lady Maroons rolled to its first win of the 2023-24 girls basketball season with a 48-28 over Decatur Eisenhower from the Clinton Turkey Tussle holiday tournament at Clinton High School.

Avery Smith led the way for Clinton with 13 points. Reagan Filkin added 11 points while Makayla Koeppel added eight.

Clinton opened up a 26-10 lead at the intermission thanks to a 16-4 second quarter.

The Lady Maroons are 1-1 overall. The Lady Maroons wrap up pool play of the round-robin tournament Friday night at 8 pm.
