In a game heard Thursday night on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons rolled the Roanoke-Benson Rockets, 56-23, in non-conference girls basketball action at Clinton High School.

Clinton jumped in front 16-3 in the first quarter, and never looked back. They led 31-8 at the half, and led by 31 to start the fourth quarter with a running clock.

Roanoke was led by Elly Heineke's 14 points.  The Rockets fall to 3-11 on the season, and next play at Ottawa Marquette Monday night.

The Lady Maroons improve to 6-5 with the win, and next host El Paso-Gridley Monday night.  We'll next hear the Lady Maroons on Wednesday when they travel to Riverton.
