HS BBBall: Clinton Throttles Neoga

Mason Walker and Dawson Graves led the way as Clinton throttled Neoga 73-32 in Holiday Hoopla boy's basketball action Tuesday night at the Sievers Center in Monticello.

 

Walker knocked down five three-pointers and scored 18 points. Dawson Graves scored 16 points. 

 

Clinton shot 60 percent from the floor, and 8-for-17 from distance. They dished out 15 assists on its 30 field goals and had 30 points in the paint. 

 

The Maroons forced 20 Indian turnovers that turned into 25 points.

 

Clinton starters logged no more than 15 minutes as the Maroons had a 40-point lead by the third quarter and the 30-point running clock activated the entire fourth quarter.

 

Dalton Bell scored eight points off the bench for Clinton.

 

The 13-0 Maroons head to another day two showdown at the Hoopla with the tournament's host, Monticello at 3:30 pm.
