Argenta-Oreana held off Cumberland in the second half for a 45-43 Lincoln Prairie Conference win in high school boys basketball action Friday night in Cumberland.
The Bombers expanded a 12-8 lead after the first quarter to a 23-16 lead at halftime, but Cumberland battled back to bring the score 32-29 as the Bombers were able to hold on from there.
Jalynn Flowers led Argenta-Oreana with 16 points. Chase Logue scored 13 points.
Kelby Bierman's 17 points led Cumberland.
Cumberland drops to 9-17 overall and 2-6 in league play.
Argenta-Oreana is 15-10 overall and 7-1 in the Lincoln Prairie. The Bombers host Villa Grove Tuesday night in more Lincoln Prairie action.
