The Argenta-Oreana Bombers pulled out to a big lead early. They never looked back taming the Cerro Gordo-Bement Broncos 70-36 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school boys basketball action Tuesday night in Argenta.
Jalynn Flowers led the Bombers with 27 points. Argenta-Oreana pulled out to a 23-4 lead after the first quarter. That lead would be trimmed to 35-22 at the half but the Bombers extended it back to 59-35 at the end of the third quarter.
Ethan Mahan scored 15 points for the Bombers and Chase Logue scored 13.
Will Fuson scored 14 points to lead the Broncos.
Cerro Gordo-Bement falls to 13-17 overall and 4-7 in the Lincoln Prairie.
Argenta-Oreana goes to 17-12 overall and finishes at 9-2 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference. The Bombers wrap up the regular season with game against Clinton on Thursday.
