The Illinois State baseball team scored in the 1st inning on Sunday but dropped the series finale, 10-5, to Little Rock at Gary Hogan Field.
An RBI triple in the first inning from redshirt junior Judah Morris opened the game's scoring. Little Rock answered with three runs in the 2nd inning to go up 3-1 lead.
Daniel Pacella tied the game at 3-3 in the third with a solo home run and a wild pitch which scored Morris with the bases loaded. Arkansas-Little Rock outscored ISU 7-2 the rest of the way for the win.
Illinois State drops to 2-4 in 2024 while Little Rock improves to 4-3.
Sophomore Thomas Harper tied a career-high with 7 strikeouts over 5.0 innings of work.
Illinois State is scheduled to play Tuesday in Evanston against Northwestern, with first pitch at 2:30 p.m.
