Blake Crancer drove in three runs but the Normal West Wildcats could not hold off East Peoria in a 13-10 slugfest Tuesday in Normal.
Curt Sosnowki drove in six runs finishing 3-for-5 with a double and home run. The senior was a triple shy of the cycle. RJ Duncheon was 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Raiders.
Trent Durham was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for the Wildcats who led 9-5 through three innings. Bradyn Whitehead and Brady Hart added two hits apiece for Normal West, who is still searching for its first win of the 2024 spring baseball season - going to 0-4 on the year.
The Raiders go to 5-0 on the season.
Normal West hosts Limestone today before they travel to Alabama for a spring break trip next week.
