Ryan Thiele doubled three times leading Normal Community to a 13-0, five-inning romp over Danville in Big 12 baseball action Monday afternoon in Danville.

The senior finished 3-for-3 on the afternoon driving in a run and scoring twice. 

Anthony Gura was 1-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and a run scored. Kyle Beat, Parker Michels, Reid Johnson, and Luke Drengwitz drove in runs for the Ironmen.

Dexter Niekamp tripled in a run and walked finishing 1-for-3 and scoring three runs.

Jake Branch got the start for Normal firing three innings of shutout ball to go with three strikeouts, a walk and allowed a hit. Jack Richards finished the final two frames striking out three without allowing a hit or a walk. 

The Ironmen move to 10-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Big 12. They are back in action this afternoon taking on Moline United.
