HS Baseball: Maroa-Forsyth Rolls Pleasant Plains

The Maroa-Forsyth offense exploded for five extra base hits Tuesday and rolled to a 10-2 win over Pleasant Plains in Sangamo Conference high school baseball action from Plains on Tuesday.

 

Tate Bradenburg paced the Trojans offense finishing 2-for-3 with a double, four RBIs, and scored a run. Mitch Williams was 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Kaiden Maurer was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, and three runs scored. Zayn Giles, Ace Giles, Caden Rose, and Connor Kelly all drove in runs for the Trojans. 

 

Kelly went the distance on the mound with five strikeouts and permitted six hits to zero walks. 

 

The Trojans are 11-0 overall and 1-0 in the Sangamo. They return to action Thursday when they host New Berlin in more Sangamo play.
