Koyie Williams stayed hot and Luke Teschke hit a home run on a day where he wasn't his best on the mound as Monticello rolled Mattoon 9-2 in non-conference high school baseball Tuesday in Monticello.
Williams went yard and finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Teschke hit a solo home run. The Illinois State commit finished five innings of two-run ball but walked five, struck out six, and allowed four hits.
Brody Billedo struck out three and allowed a hit in two innings of scoreless relief to close out the win.
Ike Young drove in a run with a double for the Sages and Jacob Long also had an RBI.
Monticello stays perfect on the season going to 17-0. They will travel to Tolono Unity on Thursday for an Illini Prairie Conference showdown.
