Addison Roos singled in the winning run and Blue Ridge walked off Martinsville 4-3 in non-conference softball action in Farmer City Wednesday.

The Lady Knights had to rally twice, trailing 1-0 right away Wednesday. They scored three unanswered runs highlighted by a Lily Enger seven-pitch RBI double in the third inning. 

Lily Summers and Ellie Schlieper had run-scoring singles in the bottom of the fourth inning. 

Summers finished 3-for-3. Roos was 1-for-4 while Enger, Summers, and Cassie Zimmerman were all 1-for-3 with doubles. 

Schlieper struck out ten in seven innings of work in circle for Blue Ridge. She allowed three runs on eight hits and issued just one walk. 

Blue Ridge goes to 5-8 overall. They host Oakland Tri-County on Thursday.
