Ashley Armstrong broke a 2-all tie in the bottom of the sixth inning and Clinton rallied past Decatur St. Teresa 3-2 Monday night in non-conference high school softball action in Clinton.
Armstrong's hit came after Hadley Humbled tied the game with a base hit earlier in the inning.
Jalie Eller doubled in a run for the Lady Bulldogs who jumped in front 2-0 in the first inning.
Brooke Reeves was 2-for-4 for Clinton while Armstrong was 2-for-3.
Armstrong went the distance in circle for Clinton. The senior struck out seven, allowed two runs on five hits and walked zero.
