Meridian's Ashley Schelling was too much for Clinton as Meridian no-hit Clinton -0 in Central Illinois Conference high school softball from Clinton Monday.

Schelling struck out 15 across seven scoreless, hitless innings for the Rams. She issued just two walks in the no-hit effort. 

Only Brooke Reeves and Heidi Humble reached base on the free pas for the Lady Maroons.

Clinton goes to 8-9 overall and 2-4 in the CIC.
