Monticello took down rival St. Joseph-Ogden 9-5 and clinched the Illini Prairie Conference regular season title with a 9-5 win Monday in St. Joseph.
Luke Teschke fired six innings of two-run ball and Koyie Williams drove in four runs. Teschke struck out seven, walked two, and permitted five hits. The Illinois State-commit also walked three times.
Williams was 2-for-5 while Jacob Long finished 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Dylan Brown went 1-for-4 with three RBIs for the Sages.
