GOVERNOR BRUCE RAUNER SAYS HE’S LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK’S VISIT BY PRESIDENT OBAMA.
 
THE PRESIDENT IS SCHEDULED TO SPEAK BEFORE THE LEGISLATURE ON WEDNESDAY THE 10TH. GOVERNOR RAUNER SAYS IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO HEAR WHAT HE HAS TO SAY.
 
 
GOVERNOR RAUNER SAYS HOPES THE PRESIDENT WILL TALK ABOUT SOME OF THE TOPICS THEY AGREE ON…LIKE EDUCATION REFORM, TERM LIMITS AND REDISTRICTING REFORM. HE’D ALSO LIKE TO SEE OBAMA BRING UP THE CURRENT BUDGET STALEMATE IN SPRINGFIELD.
 
 
FEBRUARY 10TH MARKS THE NINE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OBAMA’S 2007 ANNOUNCEMENT THAT HE WAS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.
