DeWitt County Remembers Welby Cyrulik

DeWitt County lost a longtime member of its County Board earlier this week.

Welby Cyrulik passed away Tuesday at the age of 75. Welby served on the DeWitt County Board for many years and the past 35 years was the supervisor of the Texas Township.

Community members that lived and served along side him recall him as a very task oriented individual. Craig Fink is DeWitt County's engineer, he recalls Cyrulik was very supportive and understanding. Cyrulik worked in the concrete business, and so he had a good understanding of the projects Fink took on. Fink recalls Cyrulik simply got things done.
