The DeWitt County Visitors Center has been open a little over a month and a half now.
New attractions on the inside include a wall of the Center which was turned into a museum that will show off some the area's unique railroad history. The exhibit also features local stories about the railroads and a lot of interesting content. Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce Marian Brisard encourages locals and visitors to come out see the new display.

Brisard says it is a good opportunity for local businesses to bring their information out and put it on display for those stopping in to see. She encourages those businesses that have not yet gotten their information to the Visitors Center to do so, as the Center has been well received by the public so far.

Brisard says the numbers of people that come in and visit the Center helps the Chamber decide whether they will continue to keep it open. The Visitors Center has been open since the Memorial Day weekend. For more information, contact the Clinton Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau at 935-3364.
