(Champaign, IL)  --  A wind farm is in the works for Central Illinois.   A Chicago-based company has applied for a permit to put 30 turbines up in Champaign and Vermillion counties.   The project would create more than 100 jobs and generate money for schools, roads, and even farmers.  If the Champaign County Board approves the farm, construction will begin in 2012.
