Several state universities are joining forces to find more ag teachers.  The University of Illinois, Western Illinois University, Illinois State, and Southern Illinois University are all on the lookout.  Dr. Andy Baker is with WIU's ag education program.

Dr. Baker says more students are graduating out of the university ag programs.  He's been able to help a number of WIU alumni attend the National Association of Agricultural Educators regional conference, which provides required professional development hours for ag teachers.
