Chamber Week in Clinton

It's Chamber Week in Clinton.

At last Tuesday evening's Clinton City Council meeting, Clinton Mayor Carolyn Peters a proclamation that the City will observe this week as Chamber Week. Executive Director the Chamber of Commerce Marian Brisard is excited about the proclamation and looks forward to the week ahead as the Chamber is showcased.

As part of Chamber Week, the Chamber has some events this week they will be a part of. The highlight of the events will be their open house on Thursday(9/15). Brisard notes this is a good opportunity to stop in at the Chamber office and Chamber members and enjoy some free refreshments.

One of the other events taking place this week is a Ribbon Cutting ceremony at the new location of EMC Photography on the square. EMC Photography is owned by Ed and Krystal Civenas. Also, Rich Roth just opened a ServPro franchise and he will be having a Ribbon Cutting ceremony later in the afternoon as well. Brisard says its an exciting time for the community and the downtown area, and the public is welcome to come and be a part of it all.

Again Chamber Week is this week, the 12th-16th. Chamber Week is a nationally recognized week and the Clinton Community will be spotlighting the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Big 1520 AM/92.3 FM WHOW will be live at the Chamber this afternoon with a live broadcast from 1-2pm talking with Chamber members about this week and the role the Chamber plays in the community.
