>>Cubs, Sox 2012 Schedules Released

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox 2012 schedules were both released on Wednesday.  The Northsiders open their campaign on April 5th at Wrigley Field against the Washington Nationals.  They play NL Central division rivals in 16 of their first 26 games.  Meanwhile, the Southsiders start with a six-game road trip to Texas and Cleveland, with Opening Day coming on Friday, April 6th against the Rangers.  They play their home-opener against Detroit on April 13th at The Cell.

(New York, NY)  --  The Cardinals will be playing in a new ballpark when they open the 2012 regular season.  St. Louis will take on the renamed Miami Marlins in their new retractable roof stadium on April 4th next year.  The Cards home opener will be Friday, April 13th against the Cubs.  St. Louis plays Interleague series at home against the Royals, Indians and White Sox and at Detroit and KC.
