NFL Sends Warning About Faking Injuries

>>NFL Warns Teams About Faking Injuries

(New York, NY)  --  The NFL is taking a firm stance against teams that possibly fake injuries on the field.  The league has issued a memo to all 32 clubs warning that players, coaches and teams could face disciplinary action if it determines there is reasonable cause that an injury was faked to disrupt the flow of the game.  Penalties include fines, suspensions or even the loss of future draft picks.  The warning comes after two New York Giants defenders fell to the ground with supposed injuries during an efficient no-huddle drive by the St. Louis Rams on "Monday Night Football."
