Authorities in Macon County say fake marijuana is lining the shelves at some local stores and they say parents should be aware. The synthetic drug looks like incense or potpourri but it's actually a potentially harmful form of marijuana. The product is clearly marked that is shouldn't be consumed but that's not stopping some teenagers from indulging. Sheriff Tom Schneider urges parents to talk to their children and educate themselves on the dangers of synthetic marijuana. Lawmakers banned k2 earlier this year but some stores simply started purchasing other forms of synthetic drugs.
