>>Bears Clash With Carolina

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Bears will host the Panthers at Soldier Field on Sunday.  Chicago dropped to 1-and-2 on the season with a 27-17 home loss to the rival Packers last week.  Carolina collected its first win by beating the Jaguars last week.  The Bears have won three of the five all-time meetings between the teams.

>>Rams Host Redskins

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Rams will once again try for their first victory of the season when they host the 2-and-1 Washington Redskins Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome.  St. Louis is coming off a 37-7 beatdown at the hands of the Ravens last weekend to fall to 0-and-3.  This is the Rams' third home game in four weeks to start the year.  The Rams play four of their next five games on the road.

>>Illini Host Northwestern

(Undated)  --  An old in-state rivalry in college football action is on tap tomorrow.  In-state rivals will collide when 22nd-ranked Illinois hosts Northwestern at 11:00 a.m. The undefeated Illini are coming off a closer-than expected victory against Central Michigan last Saturday. They have played their first 5 games at home this year, and the 5-game homestand wraps up this weekend.

>>Chase Shifts To Dover

(Dover, DE)  --  The Chase for the Sprint Cup championship shifts to Dover for the AAA 400 on Sunday.  Tony Stewart is on fire right now.  After a winless 26-race regular season, Stewart has won the first two playoff races.  Stewart began the Chase in the ninth seed, but after back-to-back wins, he has propelled to the lead, holding a seven-point advantage over Kevin Harvick.
