Illinois GOP Chairman Wants To Stop Springfield Corruption

Illinois GOP Chairman Pat Brady says it's time to start investigating corruption in Springfield.  He's calling on Attorney General Lisa Madigan to go after her dad, Speaker of the House Michael Madigan.  Brady says the Speaker has been involved in fraud and public corruption in the past eight months but the Attorney General hasn't quote, "lifted a finger to investigate them." He's particularly upset about a bill that allows two union lobbyists to collect a state pension after working only one day in the school system.  Lisa Madigan denies the allegations that she doesn't go after corruption.  She says she was the first person to start investigating Rod Blagojevich and she didn't endorse the former governor in 2006.
