Giants, Broncos Win Sunday

>>Broncos Stun Steelers In OT

(Denver, CO)  --  Tim Tebow tossed an 80-yard touchdown to Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime to lift the Broncos in a thrilling 29-23 win over the Steelers in an AFC Wild Card matchup.  Tebow finished 10-of-21 for 316 yards with two TD's to go along with 50 yards and a score via the ground.  Thomas collected four catches for 204 yards with a touchdown for Denver, which will head to Foxboro to square off against the New England Patriots next weekend.  New England beat the Broncos, 41-23, Week 15 in Denver.  Eddie Royal's 30-yard TD catch sparked a 20-point second quarter as the Broncos carried a 14-point lead into the half.  Matt Prater split the uprights three times in the win.

>>Giants Blast Falcons In NFC Wild Card Tilt

(East Rutherford, NJ)  --  Eli Manning threw for 277 yards with three touchdowns and collected his first career home playoff win as the Giants blasted the Falcons, 24-2, in an NFC Wild Card tilt.  Hakeem Nicks hauled in six catches for 115 yards with two scores and Mario Manningham also found the endzone via the air for New York, which will face off against the Green Bay Packers next weekend at Lambeau Field.  Green Bay beat the Giants, 38-35, in Week 13 in East Rutherford.  An intentional grounding penalty on Manning in the endzone, which resulted in a safety, accounted for Atlanta's lone points of the game.  Matt Ryan completed 24-of-41 passes for 199 yards and Michael Turner rumbled for 41 yards as Atlanta remained winless in the playoffs since 2004.  Last year as the NFC's top seed, they fell to Green Bay in the Divisional round.
