Second Arrest Made in 2010 Clinton Lake Deer Killings

A second arrest has been made in the February 2010 Clinton Lake White Tail Deer killing case.

On Sunday Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police Officers arrested 26-year old Chevy Miller of Clinton. Conservation Police Officer Ray Wichus says Miller faces a number of charges in the brutal slaying of at least 8 white tail deer at Clinton Lake.

Wichus speculates the case may be 50% complete with this second arrest. He says public input has been key in their investigations and the public is encouraged to contact DNR Offices with any information they may still have regarding the investigation.

In 2010, DNR Officers arrested now 22-year old Clay Reeves of Clinton and charged him with the same counts Miller faces.

Wichus could not comment on potential future arrests due to the investigation being ongoing. If you have any more information regarding the deer killings at Clinton Lake, you are encouraged to contact Clinton Crimestoppers at 935-3333, or the IDNR Region Office at 935-6860.
