Sophomore's Career Night Paces Sages

Sophomore Nick Stokowski scored a career high 35 points and the Monticello Sages escaped the Argenta-Oreana Bombers Tuesday ight with a score of 69-59.  Stokowski was a rebound shy of yet another double-double for the season, as the 6-foot-2 sophomore is showing no signs of being slowed in his first year of full time varsity play. This win evens the Sages record at 9-9, and improved to a 5-2 mark in the Okaw Valley Conference. 

Senior Kendell King also had a career high of 17 points. 

The Bombers were led by Dylan Sunderland with 14 points. The Bombers are now 6-12 and 0-7 in the conference.

The JV game Tues evening saw the Bombers drop to the Sages 41-25.

The Sages meet the Bombers again Friday in the first round "play in" game at 7pm. The winner plays Meridian Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
