LaRussa To Manage NL All-Stars; Prince To Detroit

(New York, NY)  --  Tony La Russa will manage one more game.  Despite retiring after winning the World Series in October, the former Cardinals skipper will lead the National League squad at this summer's All-Star Game in Kansas City.  He'll join John McGraw as the only retired skippers to do so.

>>Prince Leaves NL Central

(Detroit, MI)  --  Not only is Albert Pujols out of the NL Central, but so too is Prince Fielder.  The free-agent first baseman has agreed to a reported nine-year, $214-million deal with Detroit.  Fielder spent his first seven years with Milwaukee.  Pujols signed with the Angels last month.
