A Task Force is supposed to be looking into the superintendent positions to determine what they do and if the state can function without them.  Governor Quinn has yet to appoint a Chairperson, which means the task force hasn’t come up with any conclusions.  Unless the task force moves quickly, the regional superintendents could be in the same position they were in last year.  They didn’t get paid for five months after Quinn vetoed their pay from the budget.
