Congressman Aaron Schock said both Republicans and Democrats are guilty of overspending over the last decade but he says the Obama administration has had supercharged spending in its first three years. The Peoria Republican says the President's budget didn't garner a single vote last year in the Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate and he doesn't figure this year's budget will be much better. He spoke at a breakfast fundraiser for State Representative Jil Tracy in Quincy yesterday morning. He credited the crowd of mostly business owners for adding jobs without much government assistance.
