Governor Quinn says he's moving forward with his plan to shut down about 63 state facilities.

Lawmakers have been holding public hearings across the state, giving people the chance to weigh in on the closure plan. Quinn says the meetings are very valuable. And despite the notion that the meetings won't make a difference in Quinn's decision, the governor says he is listening to the people's concerns and will take them into consideration. There are meetings in Dwight and Joliet today.
