Cards Down Marlins In Stateside Opener

Kyle Lohse took a no-hitter into the seventh inning as the Cardinals knocked off the Marlins, 4-1, in the Stateside MLB regular season opener.  Lohse allowed only two hits while striking out three and walking none over seven-and-a-third innings to earn the win.  Jason Motte closed things out to earn the save.  David Freese had three hits, a run and two RBI for the Cards in their first game in the post-Albert Pujols era.  Jose Reyes had two hits in his Miami debut, including a single to break up Lohse's no-hit bid.  Josh Johnson allowed three runs and 10 hits to take the loss in the first regular season game at Marlins Park.
