Bulls Turn Back Knicks

Rip Hamilton netted 20 points as the Bulls beat the Knicks, 98-86, to earn a split in their home-and-home series.  Derrick Rose did not play for Chicago due to an ankle injury.  Luol Deng finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who outrebounded the Knicks 51-33.  Chicago had 18 offensive rebounds in the win.  Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points for the Knicks, who are only a game in front of the Bucks for the final playoff spot in the East. The Bulls wrap up a brief two-game homestand tomorrow evening against the Miami Heat.
