Free Identity Theft Prevention Class Tonight

The Office of the State of Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka is putting on a free program to discuss identity theft.

The Warner Public Library is the site for this free session. Librarian at the Warner Library, Bobbi Perryman explains at the class you will learn how to identify scams, ways to protect and prepare yourself, and steps to take if you are a victim of identity theft.

There are several ways for people seeking your information to obtain it, and Perryman says this class is a good opportunity for people to get information on protecting themselves from being a victim of identity theft.

Again the program is Thursday evening at 7 pm at the Warner Public Library and is being put on by Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka's office. It is free and open to the public.
