(Cleveland, OH) -- A.J. Pierzynski highlighted a five-run sixth inning with a three-run homer as the White Sox outslugged the Indians, 10-6. Alejandro De Aza hit a two-run shot in a four-run first for Chicago, which won both games of the snow-shortened series. John Danks pitched into the sixth inning to get the win. Justin Masterson allowed five runs in five frames to take the loss for the Tribe. Travis Hafner and Shelley Duncan combined for five hits, two home runs and five RBI in defeat.

(Chicago, IL) -- George Kottaras clubbed a go-ahead, two-run homer in the seventh inning to lead the Brewers to a 2-1 win over the Cubs. Yovani Gallardo [[ guy-ARE-doh ]] tossed seven innings of one-run ball for the win. John Axford closed it out for his second save. The Brewers have won three straight against the Northsiders and will go for a series sweep on Thursday. Starlin Castro's sac-fly in the first inning accounted for Chicago's lone run of the game. Ryan Dempster gave up both runs through six-and-two-thirds frames to absorb the loss. The Cubs fell to 1-and-5 on the season.

(Cincinnati, OH) -- Chris Heisey's pinch-hit, RBI single scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Reds rallied for a 4-3 win over the Cardinals. Jay Bruce and Wilson Valdez drove in runs in the fifth to tie the game for Cincinnati, which overcame a 3-0 deficit. Joey Votto went 4-for-5 with an RBI double as the Reds evened their record at 3-and-3. Aroldis Chapman worked two innings of relief to get the win. Mark Rzepczynski took the loss for St. Louis. Rafael Furcal had an RBI triple and Jon Jay a two-run homer in a three-run third inning for the Cardinals.
