(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Cardinals will raise their World Series banner today as they play their home opener against the Chicago Cubs.  Adam Wainwright will start for St. Louis, while Chicago counters with Jeff Samardzija.  The Cardinals will get their World Series rings tomorrow.

>>Berkman Expected To Miss Cubs Series

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Cardinals will have to get by without Lance Berkman this weekend.  The first baseman is expected to miss all three games against the Cubs with a Grade 1 strain in his left calf.  He was injured running out a triple Tuesday against the Reds.  Berkman is not expected to go on the DL.
