Greg Biffle snapped a 49-race winless streak in the Sprint Cup Series by taking Saturday night's Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Jimmie Johnson dominated most of the race by leading 156 laps, but Biffle passed him for the top spot with 30 laps to go. Johnson got loose and made slight contact with the wall shortly after, which ultimately put him out of contention to win, leading to a second-place finish. Biffle captured his 17th career Sprint Cup win but his first since October 2010 at Kansas. Mark Martin finished third, while Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth rounded out the top-five.
